Departure & Evening Darshan at Thiruchendur
Night departure from Chennai. Overnight journey (~8 hrs). Morning: Arrive Thiruchendur. Check in to hotel/dharmasala near the temple. Freshen up. Breakfast. Afternoon: First Darshan at Sri Senthilnatha Swamy Temple, Thiruchendur. Experience the magnificent Rajagopuram (7-tiered entrance tower). Take a dip at Paravai Theertham (sacred sea bathing ghat right outside the temple). Witness the breathtaking sight of the ocean waves crashing near the temple walls. Evening: Walk along the Thiruchendur beach. Watch the sunset over the Bay of Bengal. Dinner. Night rest near the temple.
Morning Darshan & Return
5:00 AM — Early morning bath at Paravai Theertham (sea bathing). The atmosphere at dawn is divinely peaceful — the waves, the sea breeze and Lord Murugan's blessings. Brahma Muhurtha Darshan at the main sanctum. Experience the morning puja and abhishekam atmosphere. Breakfast. Time for shopping at the temple market — buy Murugan idols, kumkum, vibhuti and local handicrafts. Late morning: Check-out and begin return journey. Arrive Chennai by evening.
